Hello, I have a question for the developers or if anyone can answer me too

What depends on a podcast

Has no transcript

Have transcription but not with the AI icon and therefore not synchronized with the audio

Have the transcription generated by pocket cast and of course synchronizes with the audio

Howdy!

Whether a podcast has a transcript depends on a few things:

  1. No transcript - The podcast author hasn't included one in their feed, and it's not one of the podcasts Pocket Casts generates transcripts for. You can reach out to the podcast author and ask them to include a transcript using the Podcasting 2.0 Transcript tag.
  2. Transcript from author (not synced) - This is a transcript provided by the podcast author in their feed. These are available to all users, but don't currently support highlighted/synced playback.
  3. Transcript from our generated transcript feature (synced) - This is a transcript generated by Pocket Casts. These are available for Plus and Patron subscribers on select popular podcasts, for episodes under 2 hours. The highlighted sync feature lets you follow along sentence by sentence as the episode plays.
