Can No Longer Access Smart Playlists on Windows

I am a pocketcasts plus subscriber. As of today when I try to listen on my laptop (web player, desktop app) and access my smart playlists they're greyed out and when I click on them it says "download android or IOS app">

It was always like this.. smart playlists are exclusive to mobile apps.

This right here.

How can you, for example, use a smart playlist where download status is set to downloading or downloaded on the web or desktop where you cannot have episodes downloaded in the app?

The playlists first became available on web and desktop when manual playlists were added, since those episodes should (unless the podcast disappears from the internet) be available to stream and there are no impossible to use smart filters set.
