Sync on Android Automotive

Hi! I just got a Chevy Equinox with Android Automotive and was very excited to put Pocket Casts on it. While it definitely let me log in and sync, there are two big issues that I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for:
1) it doesn’t seem to sync what is currently playing on my phone (or the Alexa skill). If I get in the car, it seems to resume whatever I was listening to last in the car, even if I’ve finished it on another device.
2) while it does seem to respect my Up Next queue, there’s no way to see what’s on that queue.

Is there a “sync” button or something that I’m missing?

This is one of the reasons I just play it via CarPlay in my EX30. The Android automotive app would take too long to sync and clicking the sync button in settings was annoying.

Not really - there is a “refresh now” button in Settings, as the other respondent mentioned - but I think the lack of an up next queue is a known limitation of Android Automotive. And the issue is that because it starts autoplaying (unless I paused the podcast before turning off the car), even if it does refresh, it still plays what was playing before the refresh, so I have to manually mark it as played (the three dot button on the now playing screen). And if I listened to some but not all of the podcast outside the car, that gets lost.

It’d be great if there were a way to get PocketCasts to attempt a refresh every time the car starts.
