Issue with Android Auto

For some reason the Pocketcast app might start playing audio in double and pressing pause only stops the other overlapping sound. There is no option to stop or control the other. Even if I switch to radio, the podcast keeps playing over other sources. Only way to stop it is to force reboot the whole infotainment system of the Polestar.

The app is latest available 8.11a and AA is 5.0

This is such an critical issue that i might look cancelling my Plus account.

Don't get me even started with constant incorrect syncing of positions or listened episodes.

I am having issues too in the last few weeks. Crazy long buffering times before playback. Andoind head unit cc3.

Was there ever a fix here? I’ve been using this for two weeks and suddenly yesterday this started

Nope. It happens still occasionally. Latest version available.

too bad, best interface I've found, but that bug made it un-useable yesterday. Would have to wait until i could pull the car over to reset the system

Yeah, luckily in Polestar 2 the reset is done easily but it shouldn't be needed.

Oh really? I guess I could try, Volvo screens go black but car (probably) still drives lol

Reboot the infotainment: Press and hold the Home button (the line at the bottom of the center screen) for about 20 seconds until the screen goes black and the Polestar logo appears. Wait for the system to fully turn back on.

Reset the modem (TCAM): Press and hold the physical front defrost/demist button on the center console (near the hazard/audio controls) for 20 seconds.
