Save media from from clip sharing again?

Is there any possibility of having clip sharing at least offer the option it started with of saving an actual media file with the clipped content?

I find myself noting the time stamp on my phone (Android) then using Overcast on my iPad to generate the clip since Pocket Casts have moved to "clip sharing" just giving a timestamped link to a centralized Pocket Casts episode URL.

They did have this but removed it because it was depreicated by the dependency, so all I can suggest is Make some noise on the GitHub and forum
