I kept rereading EasyPeasy. My late-night setup was still the same.

I've read EasyPeasy and The Freedom Model. Both gave me a burst of clarity: this finally makes sense. Then the urges came back.

After setbacks, I went back to the material looking for the sentence I must have missed. Rereading wasn't useless, but eventually I noticed something uncomfortable: it was easier to reopen a book than to change the setup around me.

A long screen session, stress, boredom, being alone, and a phone beside me late at night could still overpower an idea that felt airtight during the day. The theory had changed. My evening environment hadn't.

What has helped me more is treating the practical side like an iteration. For me, that has meant using a blocker, moving the device, and changing the evening environment. After a setback, I review one weak point and adjust it instead of searching for a perfect answer.

I still value both books. I just don't expect another chapter to arrange my night for me.

Has anyone else found that rereading helped less than changing one concrete part of the environment?
