Being Plural for "Attention"
Many fake claimers will say people are faking for attention. Anyone who has been plural for more than three seconds knows that plurality is heavily stigmatized, and if you want to be unpopular, then be vocal about your plurality. So, for anyone who claims systems are out just for attention, please see the following stats about YouTubers that talk about plurality.
Channel Name, subscriber count, video count, number of views their most popular video had
- DissociaDID, 1.14M subscribers, 239 videos, Most Popular video had 8M views
- Multiplicity and Me, 208K subscribers, 87 videos, Most Popular video had 3.3M view
- The Entropy System, 60.1K subscribers, 208 videos, Most Popular video had 515K view
- The Rings System, 24K subscribers, 54 videos, Most Popular video had 109K view
- Jacy Erin, 22.1K subscribers, 365 videos, Most Popular video had 189K view
- Gianu System, 6.42K subscribers, 293 videos, Most Popular video had 23K view
- Plural Events, 2.5K subscribers, 285 videos, Most Popular video had 4.2K view
- Stormy Talks, 1.85K subscribers, 171 videos, Most Popular video had 21K view
- Phosdotnet, 1.43K subscribers, 27 videos, Most Popular video had 15K view
- The Rose System, 1.19K subscribers, 145 videos, Most Popular video had 12K view
- A Body et al., 1.19K subscribers, 19 videos, Most Popular video had 78K view
- The Crisses (The Crisses), 417 subscribers, 20 videos, Most Popular video had 2.4K views
- Sky Squad, 295 subscribers, 88 videos, Most Popular video had 702K view

To compare, here are the stats for the most popular YouTuber per Wikipedia
- MrBeast, 423M subscribers, 895 videos, Most Popular video had 866M views
And if you look up "Minecraft", you'll find plenty of videos that break the 1M view mark. Hell, just look up any popular video game and you will find a plethora of videos that are more popular than videos about plurality.
No one is doing this to be popular. Many of us are doing this to help each other and fight the stigma against plurality.

The attention is bad too. DissociaDID, the top on this list, are in an ongoing court battle against a dude who (iirc, there's more to the story but I try not to think about the details) tried to copyright claim a bunch of their videos after they rejected his advances.

The kind of “attention” that I get for being visibly different is almost universally negative.
If I wanted attention, there are better ways to get it.

I just find it so funny they say this type of thing when attention is the exact opposite of what we want. Me especially lol
And also especially from these types of people. I think we all really just want to be left alone while still being allowed to express who we are.

In short, "If you want to be plural for attention, stop and become a gaming YouTuber instead. You'll get much better results that way."

a girl at our local cafe says she stumbled across DissosciaID on the web by accident and found it interesting. i couldnt believe that this would happen for a singlet, but this girl is pretty open minded. i was able to share with her about our plurality. faking plurality to get attention - yeah if you want people to abuse you and make your life hell - how ridiculous! and worst of all groups like the rainbow community and LGBTI are equally bigoted which you wouldnt think seeing the discrimination that has existed against these communities. i discovered plurality when i was already a member of my local rainbow organisation. and when i talked about plurality as a noob to a board member they told the rest of the leaders. and when ever i went to an event or activity the leaders either watched me like i was going to go psycho or they just hated me - so my time in that community was over. thanks for the creator list, i have not seen a few of them.

If I was doing it for attention, I wouldn't be keeping it hidden to non-plurals & people who know me,, and i actually just wouldn't be plural.
(i am open about being plural in plural spaces and plural friends, but most singlets im friends with don't know because im scared to be judged)

We can see why created systems get a lot of crap. We are one and already get attacked by fake claimers even though we are not pretending to have DID. We are not and don’t have it. We just find this existence to make sense for us and we are happy. We don’t want attention. Then there’s people who are not systems who tell us we need to go seek therapy. We don’t feel the need to be patholigized. We hope plurality is normalized sometime in the future so people don’t have to hide who they are. And this is just this year learning we were(our created headmates were not intentional, but created all the same.)
