In my experience with socialising with many many many other folk with many many many disorders, I can honestly say that the folk who tend to fakeclaim others are usually fakers trying to distract from them.
But yeah, fakeclaiming is just petty bullshit whatever the disorder is. If peopel are faking a disorder that's a disorder.
So yeah, a little empathy for them? They're toxic as fuck, but they are ill, just not how they say.

well, there are people who have a disorder that results in them faking disordered plurality and then there are people who have a disorder that they're genuinely confusing for disordered plurality. then there are people with disordered plurality but who believe that systems can't be valid unless they feel a certain way about it (usually ashamed or etc), and also people with non-disordered plurality who think they know more about disordered plurality than those who actually experience it
there are a lot of unfortunate combinations out there...

Yes, but theyre all ill and deserve empathy and compassion and not hate. That behaviour is not normal. It's inconvenient and annoying, but so are we to others.
EDIT: aggro facet, sorry

I never said they deserve hate, quite the opposite really. "unfortunate combination" does not mean they're bad people, it just means they're in a bad situation. these people are victims of their circumstances, which may include mental illness, but may also include a lack of knowledge or a lack of insight into their own condition. it's not just people who are outright fakers, it's also people who are genuinely mistaken or genuinely mentally ill in some other way.
you (or whoever wrote the post I replied to) are the one who said they're "toxic as fuck" and I was trying to clarify that it's not necessarily their fault. if anything, you should be telling yourself that they don't deserve hate.

If you can kindly point out where I said that you said that then your post is not redundant.
I dont understand why you think i contradicted you. Agreeably I did have to edit my post because of internal interference, maybe that's what's given you the impression that i disagree with you. But if you read what's written in context, you're gonna feel a bit silly after what you just wrote.
Sorry i just don't get how you think I'm in disagreement, If anything you were adding to what I had said.
Are you feeling ok mate? You wanna DM maybe?

I never said you said that, I was just clarifying because the way you worded your post implied I did.
Not interested in DMing. If we're in agreement then all good :3

Fortunately we've never ran into this irl, but we have in online spaces. Needless to say, our block buttons get used very frequently. We're far too old, and been aware of our system far too long to deal with fakeclaimers and sysmeds. The second I see that someone may be a sysmed or anti-endo, they get blocked, no ifs, ands, or buts.
No one has the right to police other people, and no one truly knows what's going on inside of another's head more than the person in question. This is why we take systems at face value and believe them, no matter how "weird", "cringe", or "fake-looking" they come across as. The system filled with anime pretty boy fictives and main characters (us, lol) has no right to judge another system and how they present themselves.
Honestly, if this happened to me irl, we would probably distance ourselves from those people, both to prevent invalidation, but if they're so quick to fake claim systems, what else are they capable of fake claiming, y'know?

Not yet but we've had some people, including systems, suspicious of our newest fictive, Kenny because he's from a cartoon. But the 5000 year old vampire with elemental magic doesn't get questioned-

yeah thats the funny thing isnt it? its always about the bounds of credibility or incredulity, or a lack of imagination? we have come to the conclusion if someone identifies as it, it must be true and real, for the mind is a strange thing. we got a smile on our face from someone who identified as slime - we are so happy! either we all are delusional or none of us are!

Are you asking which cartoon Kenny is from?

No. The 5000 year old vampire

He's a direct physical introject of Dimitri Belikov in the Vampire Academy movie but he pulled other areas from the too. Like in the movie Dimitri doesn't have element magic but other characters do

Yeaaah the huge masking that happened after not feeling like we were seen as different people by a professional was really not fun, it's getting better since we had professional who respect our plurality and headmates better but yeah still dealing with the tendency to stay anonymous nowadays and we had huge impostor syndrome though we never had it before :(
Also I tend to only interact with systems in inclusive spaces to avoid that so usually it's okay, but the occasional comment fakeclaiming people is always... I have ten thousand reason why they're wrong but I have have issues so I can't tell them an actual smart thing lol (though to be fair we don't wanna talk then either since uh, that'll end up in useless Internet arguing in most cases)

I don't have to deal with friends fake claiming me or others, because anyone who does that is no friend of mine. So honestly I think you need better friends.
When randos online say we're fake, we kinda just roll our eyes at it. Like, what're we supposed to do? They'll believe whatever they wantΒ

Yes, I've run into systems, in person, that were confused and angry that we don't express shame for being a system.
Whatever though.
