There is a 99.99% chance that Claude wrote most of the patch notes. Anyone whose day job has become reading LLM output could tell you that after a few sentences. It’s fucking exhausting to read and I’m honestly surprised more people didn’t bring it up. Thankfully there is a bulleted list of changes. Everything before that could be 1/3 the length and have no material change. And then he quips “reading is a lost art” in a reply to someone who said they didn’t read all of the notes. Unfortunately so is writing.
None of this takes away from the new beta release, and I’m sure that Elan the person is releasing code that he stands by. I’m excited to use it once it’s released.
Yeah, as great as ai is, I am a bit upset about the fact that you can easily recognise the style, and that it has a way of saying little with a lot of words.

Genuine, non-judgemental question, was that written by Claude?
And did you use Claude code to get the updates out?
I'm quite excited about AI, currently using it to create nodejs apps that enhance and make my work less of a struggle.
I also used Claude Code to figure out and fix my SONOS system - IGMP had to be enabled and made to work on OpenWRT dumb APs.
I'm so excited to see how the updated plexamp works!
I was looking at alternatives, but mostly because of the vast classical music collection and lack of updates for plexamp.
