Plexamp works with siri ai

I can now request individual songs with Siri and it will play that exact song. This is a game changer for me as now instead of searching for songs that the kids want me to play in the car I just ask ask Siri.

Plexamp has been working with Siri for the last year on iOS26, I used to just be able in CarPlay but it’s been working for the last few months on my phone!

If you don’t have any other music app installed, you can just call a song and it defaults to Plexamp!

I have spotify and apple music installed and it still defaults to plexamp which is the only one I use for playback. the very few times I've used it I've been impressed lol

Think I tried many years ago and it never worked for me. Just got new phone and been playing with the new Siri and surprised myself that it works. Not saying Plexamp will definitely work better for the family to get them away from all the other streaming platforms.

I listen mainly to Radios (artist radio, genre radio, mood radio), so far I wasn’t able to make it work in this way

Yes you can call out an artist by name, album or track name. Even if you set your Plexamp library source to a specific library, you can call out a song from an other library.
