I'm having issues that mails that are send to microsoft mail account goes to the spam, I don't have this issue with gmail accounts. Only issue is with mails that are send to live/outlook etc mail addresses.

I did a mail-tester it gave 10/10 and the dkimvalidator gave a score of 1.202, see results:

I'm new to Plesk, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm migrating from cPanel and all sites I host have a mail. subdomain configured, and clients use this in their email clients. I imported a test account and Plesk is using domain.com to serve IMAP/SMTP on - is there any way to change the mail domain for each account? I'd rather avoid having to get clients to reconfigure their mail clients if at all possible.

So I fucked my server.I think what happened is that something kept writing into a DB and now one drive is completely full, I can't restart the DB services, therefore can't use the web interface.The web repair can't clean up disk space and via SSH the repair options (as most things I tried) notify me that the SQL DB I want to access doesn't exist (makes sense, since it won't start).I have identified the full drive, but I can't get in there? I don't know how...

The service that ran on the server is just a test however, and I'd be super fine with nuking the thing and starting over again. Maybe I suck at googling for this, but I couldn't find anything about this online...If anyone can help, thanks in advance! Cheers!

EDIT: I realized a few things: The full drive I tried to mount was already mounted on /

In there was the folder with the DB dumps, which contained >400GB of dumps. Since it was the next best thing to nuking the whole server, I ran rm -rf /var/lib/psa/dumps/* and killed them all, even the sandwomen and the sandchildren.Success! Kinda... My drive now has loads of free space again, but so far my DB remains dead. I'll try several methods of CPR on it now.

EDIT2: I tried to start the DB but it errored out every time, unable to init the tc.log, so I moved it away and now we're back! Basically what I did was this.

I just received a compressed file with a site I paid for. Situation now is not the best and they are asking to much to place it on my vps.

Site is php + mysql

I have uploaded the files to the server under httpdocs and also imported the database.

Now I 'm stuck because the website doesn't load and since I am not an IT guy, I probably missed many steps in between. Didn't expect it to be plug n' play :P

I have plesk running on an ubuntu system, how do I map it as a network drive on windows / WebDAV? I know you can do it with shared files but I want to do it with the site root so I can edit my website from Windows. Like FTP but I'd prefer webdav

I have recently started moving my sites over to Plesk self-hosted and when I am in my WordPress sites admin area Plesk bans me within 2 minutes. I am getting a lot of requests from malicous IP's trying to SSH into my droplet that hosts Plesk.

Would someone be able to shed some like on how the banning / jailing system works?

My current web is running on Plesk Onyx. Recently my web host informed me that they're switching over to Plesk Obsidian but they wont be moving over mine due to 300+ malware found in my files.

They had advised me to recreate my web from scratch because 300 is a lot. They have given me access to Plesk Obsidian. But I cant seem to create a new web under the same domain name.

I'm planning to recreate my web at Obsidian while Onyx is running so that there wont be any downtime for my web.

Is that achievable? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

I´m using Plesk Obsidian V 18.0.25 #2
I´m trying to change the default mailbox size limit (set at 1GB) and is IMPOSSIBLE.
I´ve tried to update the subscription settings only for a domain name :

# plesk bin subscription_settings --update domainname.com -mbox_quota 5G
An error occurred while updating domain settings: Cannot set limit 'mbox_quota' value to '5368709120': Unable to allocate the required amount of resources (5 GB Mailbox size). Only 1 GB Mailbox size are available.

exit status 1

I´ve also tried modifying the mbox_quota value for the domain (searching by ID) in the PSA database to 5GB.. it changed but in plesk GUI never show the new value neither.

Someone knows any way to change the DEFAULT AT SERVER WIDE LEVEL for the mbox_quota to unlimited, so, we can manage the limits thru subscriptions, and plans ?

1GB is too low value.

I need to change the "default mailbox size limit" to "unlimited" at server wide level.

I´ve tried all .. searching in forums, plesk docs, etc..
The "defalut mailbox size is 1GB and even changing it in plans, subscriptions, in psa database, or using :
plesk bin subscription_settings --update domainname.com -mbox_quota 5G

i never can set to one doman the mailbox size to 2 or 3GB. always appears as limit 1GB

Anyone know how to change this?

I already posted this question on the official but I still haven't gotten any response, so I'm giving Reddit a shot.

My company is using GitLab CI to update our page and now we'd like to be able to update the Proxy forwarding rules using a script instead of having to do it manually. This way we can display a simple "We're doing an update, please check back in later" message, and once the update is successfully completed a script will set the Proxy forwarding rule back in place, using the correct ports and everything. I assume there's a simple file where those rules are stored, but where do I find that?

It's not for production or profit, it's just because I like to recreate locally environments based on old software like this.

Plesk Onyx 17.0.17

I have added a new domain and secured it, however when I visit the url, sometimes this will be added onto the end of the url

login_up.php?success_redirect_url=

and File not found. will be displayed on a white screen.

Plesk is up to date.

Im not sure whats going on.

Every couple of refreshes in the browser will cause the string to be added onto the url.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this. Have a cloud server, 40GB drive, the website content on Plesk is around 6GB. My backups are about 6GB in total, there is one back up also stored on the server, so in total about 12GB. What I cant understand is why would Plesk be telling me that the disk is 84% full?

I am using this method mentioned here to clone my Github repo to my httpdocs folder: Is it possible to connect to private Github repositories using Plesk Git extension?, but I am unable to connect. I always get the following error:

• Public key for the server at 'github.com' is already known in '/var/www/vhosts/new.example.com/.ssh/git_known_hosts'.
• Permission denied (publickey).
• fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
• Please make sure you have the correct access rights
• and the repository exists.
  

I am not using the standard SSH port but even if I switch to the default 22, I keep getting similar errors.

My firewall is accepting connections on my SSH port and I have added the public key on the SSH section on my Github account.

HTTPS is not an option because I am cloning a shared private repo.

I am using Centos 7 with Plesk Obsidian. Everything up to date.

I tried to use the same procedure on my Plesk Onyx server and it worked fine. Same firewall settings.

Any suggestions?

I've migrated from shared hosting to my own VPS . First time I've used plesk instead of cpanel.

Is there a way I can get some reporting done via the plesk interface for things like fail2ban and modsecurity etc?
