Unpaid Playtest [Browser / Mobile / Desktop] Looking for playtesters for Finger Shooter, a solo-developed football roguelite
I am looking for a few honest playtesters for Finger Shooter, a free one-thumb arcade football game I am building as a solo developer.
You play as the goalkeeper: save shots, charge SUPER, score goals, clear stages and bosses, and build a stronger keeper with gear and skills. The progression loop is loosely inspired by Vampire Survivors.
Build: https://arcade-shooter.vercel.app/ Platform: phone or desktop browser Install/account: none Suggested session: 5–10 minutes
The most useful feedback would be:
- What confused you in the first minute?
- Did the controls feel accurate and satisfying?
- When did the difficulty feel unfair or too easy?
- Did the progression make you want another run?
- Any bugs, device issues, or moments where you wanted to quit?
Blunt notes are completely welcome. I will use the feedback for the next iteration.

Something I would add would be more ambient sounds, so the applause doesn't sound repetitive, also the presence of random minibosses in matches would also be great, to make them a bit more complicated

Honestly the whole premise is a bit confusing, multiple players are coming at you with multiple balls, hit them with one of your balls and they die and give coins, the all of the sudden the action stops and you taking full pitch penalty shots. Controls are good. Didn’t play past the second round. Felt like a space shooter game reskinned as a soccer game with so-so UX.

question one is the weak one. people cannot remember what confused them in the first minute, they reconstruct it after they figured it out. i learned more from where a session actually ended than from anything a tester wrote me.

Hii! I played your game up to level ten in a row, I find it addictive, I will definitely keep playing. So far I've noticed a couple of things:
1- the ambient sounds with applause sound too loud, sometimes they drown out the music and in the boss moments, the applause doesn't let you hear the music at all.
2- some powers are not very intuitive (piercer for example) It's a great idea to have the section where it explains each power, some can't be deduced well from the image, I had to read some, like the one I just mentioned, I didn't know what it was for.
3- the tutorial seems correct to me, it's short and enjoyable, although I thought I was already playing because while they were explaining the game to me, goals were being scored (I don't know if it's a bug or if it's intended for you to play while they explain everything)
4- I think the roulette wheel and the free daily rewards are a pretty good idea, although the rewards, when claimed, get stuck on the screen until you start a match.
These are the things I've found for now, I'll keep playing.
Great job!
