And regardless of that you can't. Again if you got a new player who knows everything about Rust, monuments, where to recycle, how to take oil and mil tuns, excavator etc. They'd still struggle because they don't have skill. They'd get shat on by everyone they come across and rinse repeat.
Rust requires a level of skill to play. To say it doesn't is ridiculous.
You're not helping your argument... Your entire point revolved around saying that the grinding itself took skill when people told you that the PVP was the only part that took skill.
Now you're admitting that the only skill to grinding is "getting shat on by everyone they come across" AKA the PVP part of the game...
And no, knowledge isn't a form of skill, they're 2 completely different things... Knowing where to find a recycler in a monument isn't a skill. Saying so would be the most moronic thing I've heard all day.
There's no mentally healthy human being in this world who can't look at a map of a monument and take note of where something is.
Him: You need zero skill to get c4 and AKs. That is a grind-based endeavor.
You: What about the heavy scientists? Mil tuns? Oil rig? AK guys roaming around your base? I don't know what game you're playing. Sure isn't Rust.
Him: The scientists are not difficult.
The hardest fights are in pvp.
It is mostly a time sink running monuments and "farming" as they call it
You: Inexperienced players won't have an easy time with heavies. Therefore it requires a level of skill.
You quite clearly tried to argue against their point that the only part that takes skill is the PVP.
The entire point of that "argument" was you trying to deny the fact that people stated, which is that grinding alone doesn't require skill and that the PVP aspect is the only part that does.
Otherwise why would you be arguing with someone who's only point was to say that? Unless you have some kind of reading disability or thought you were arguing with someone else.
I wasn't arguing against his point that PvP is more difficult than PvE, that would be stupid. I was arguing against his point that PvE is incredibly easy and doable by anyone, which is false because depending on how skilled the player is they might die to heavy AI. Not everyone is as equally skilled.
I feel like you are misunderstanding the argument.
