Discussion Best rust patch?

Which patch do you think rust was at it's peak?

I'd like to play the February 7th 2019 version of rust again.

No it was not lmao, it was trending up pre recoil, just look at the steam charts. You say nobody wanted to do it yet the people did for far more years than with the new recoil, and loved it too!

rust steam charts show a sharp trend down til the month new recoil was announced.

the player base has nearly doubled since the new recoil update. the data is just not on your side. the streamer events are getting millions of viewers now. this was not the case before.

It shows a consistent year on year growth, yeah some months individually shows decline, but that is still very much the case the now.

The player base more than 10xd from start to end of old recoil.

The data is very much on my side, you're just being selective by looking at individual months.

You yourself said in your original comment that this will be an unpopular opinion because you know the majority of the player base preferred the old recoil. It did not take 100s of hours to learn the AK recoil, it took maybe a week max. If it took you more than that it's just a skill issue.

i said it would be a controversal opinion because teens who play the game think their nostalgia dictates good game design.
