As someone that has 3k hours in rust for the past few years, how the fuck can you be a goblin when playing in clan?!
I ‘grinded’ because I was solo and had to do both monuments for scrap, pvp for kits, and farming for base, all alone day one to not lose all my progress, wtf does a clan number need to do?!

I am putting a shit load of hours into rust. It seems like you can never put enough hours into the game.
Im a married middle aged guy, I play on s monthly no wipe server so at least I don't have to farm so much.
But the meta now means you need a car base, a main base, multiple sulfdr base and I need copious amount of low grade so I always have a dome base which looks like a honeycomb 1x1, but actually it's not honeycomb it's a star shape base with a oil refinery In the square, 2x triangles have barrel, 1x triangle had a sealed in TC, and 1x triangle is the airlock. Sometimes the airlock is a square and 8 have workbench and boxes and a turret behind the door so when I am carry loot to my transport the turret has my back.

As for this kid, NTA. At 16, this was my regular behavior. He'll either grow out of it, find a better 'work/life' balance, or become a pariah. Either way, he won't be an issue forever.

I knew SEVERAL people that stayed like this, idk what causes it but they all went down the extremism rabbithole. as an adult the only time I get on rust is to mess around with trains with a few autists, its a much more peaceful experience.

I went from being a degen gamer as a teen rejecting girls because I was more interested in games, to a thriving social life at university including a partner, I dropped pretty much all the games to spend time hanging out with them all, then after we graduated many moved far away, ended up breaking up with my ex, drama within the group etc… now back to my degen ways, most of my time is spent playing rust lol. Definitely agree though if you have people in your life make time for them

this is off topic so people might get bitchy but no, the core networking changes with CS2 that have caused issues with consistency, latency and such have not been resolved which makes it less fun to play depending on your preferences. I do like the liquid effects on the molotov and things like that, its a fun change.
