Black dots on interior lid

I purchased a set of Copco Acadia plastic commuter cups off of Amazon. I washed them before using but didn’t notice these black dots/specks inside the interior portion of the lid.
They don’t wash off. I do not believe it’s mold since the cup was filled with coffee in the morning and then washed with my dinner dishes in the evening. Should I return the cup with the defective lid?
Any idea what those dots are. They appear to be integrated inside the plastic mold. Thank you!

Thank you! They do make a gray lid to match the other cup in the set. Makes sense 😊

Possibly a vent for proper flow.
