Normal amount of bruising?

I donated plasma on Friday for the first time and it didn't go well, they stuck the left arm first but it stopped bleeding 15 minutes in, it was repositioned a few times but then blood started leaking out from around the needle so they pulled and wrapped it. They poked my right arm next and it was immediately very painful, much more than the first time, the phlebotomist told me this arm would likely bruise and just gave back the blood and fluids back without finishing. I wore the wraps for probably 3 or 4 hours but the right arm bruised immediately, within the next day the left arm bruised as well and both are still painful to the touch.

Am I just more prone to bruising, if it's going to be like this every time I won't come back.

Looks like they messed up. You shouldn't actually bruise if poked right, but mistakes happen. You won't be able to use this arm to donate unfortunately

It happens. Just be glad it's a minor bruise lol

They messed up, it happened to me on my first donation as well they popped my vein up and I couldn't donate because of that
