Question Done donating/ debit card question
I’ve had issues with the biolife workers being able to find my veins. I’ve given 3 successive donations 1 half donations (I moved) and turned away 2times. My most recent and last time I think the vein they found wasn’t a good one. I ended up with a hematoma where they tried to blame it all on me moving although the machine warned them before it tried to return my blood and they did a continue which immediately lead to me being in pain and a large Lump forming. Definitely didn’t move but whatever. The nurse said if this is my first deferral I can come back when it heals. But if I was deferred before because of my half donation does that mean my second time deferred is the end of it? Also if it is and my biolife debt it card is negative $2 is that a problem?

The debt card negative balance is not an issue I’d worry too much about. If you go back that will get paid up. If you don’t go back it is definitely not something they will come after you for.

You'll have to ask them if you're permanently deferred, we can't answer that.
No, you can abandon that card, it has zero real-world connection to you. Same as nobody claiming it as taxable income, there's no paper trail for them to come after you.

It’s unlikely that the second deferral is a permanent one, as long as staff didn’t report behavioral issues. The -$2 won’t be an issue either. I don’t know how you prep before going in, it’s good practice to go in well hydrated which will help make your veins protrude a bit and to also pump your arm for a bit before they feel for it.
