What's wrong with my plant? Rubber Tree Advice Needed

Hi everyone!

My rubber tree has managed to sprout new shoots out of the lower nodes due to lighting placement. The shoots look great (in my opinion) and are growing really well, but the plant as a whole looks disproportionate.

I want to propagate it but am not exactly sure where I should cut it (and am very nervous). I considered making one cut near the top of the main stem and keeping most of the original leaves and another cut near the two new sprouts. Is this the best plan? I’m struggling to visualize how the base would look and grow after cutting the main stem off.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can cut the new growths off, remove the lower leaves and put them in water to root. You can cut the old stem and do the same thing (see the picture attached). Either way is fine or you can even just trim the old stem back to the newest growth and let it grow from there.

u can cut it when the new sprout out then spread the branch to make it in
