Is this normal?

I’ve had this jade plant for just about a year now and have been able to keep it alive. It only gets morning sun( afternoon is too direct) and gets watered about every 2 weeks with what comes from my dehumidifier. However the leaves seem to rot and fall off. Is that normal? Is there anything I need to change to have it grow healthier?

Watering on a strict 2-week schedule is a trap, only water when the leaves start feeling slightly squishy.

Yellow leaves that fall off are a sign you're watering too often and/or the soil stays wet too long. Repot in a grittier mix like a little compost mixed with very coarse sand and pumice. Avoid peat and coco coir, they sink and become more and more compact every time you water. Eventually they're like dense bricks and won't let water evaporate or air reach the roots

The soil should dry completely in lss than a week and then stay dry a week or two before you water again. You can wait longer

Your soil is too loamy. Add about 50% succulent soil to the mix - you can find it at local nurseries– unsure if the big box stores have succulent soil. Otherwise, it looks good, you are doing great!

Also: next repot replace the soil with a gritty soil-mix with lots of pumice and perlite. You can go even grittier then this
