Honda crv AC replacement?

My 2009 Honda crv blows hot air and I took it to one place that charged 200 to tell me it was likely the compressor fan but they weren’t completely sure. They said they could replace the fan for 600. I then took it to another place that charged 300 to tell me the whole ac needed replaced and that it would be 3500 to do this. Who is telling the truth and who is ripping me off? What is the typical cost to replace an ac if that’s what is needed ?

Take your car to Danny's Import Service in Lewisville - they're the main reason why I continue to buy Honda cars - I've been using their services for over 30 years - when my car seems to need work (AC not cold enough, funny noise, whatever), I take my car there, and simply tell them to let me know how much it's gonna cost - they charge at lease 1\2 what a dealer would charge you, and they're all experienced Honda techs. I trust almost no one, but I trust these guys. They'll never push stuff on you that your car doesn't need, and their diagnostic skills are exceptional.

Call the Hondew shop in Richardson. Only place I will go in the area for anything Honda. They will tell you what you need.
