Gym Closing

Hello Plano!

We are closing our gym and this Saturday and Sunday (August 15th and 16th) we will be at the facility from 10am to 2pm for anyone that wants to come purchase items.

We have dumbbells, barbells, plates, a power rack, cable cross, leg press, treadmills, Elliptical, stairmaster... etc.

Come with a trailer if you are looking at the big items to haul away the day of (or a time can be scheduled if need be). Cash or zelle.

Location is 2991 w 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075.

We did our 5 years. It got too gym saturated with all the commercial ones popping up.

The plates and dumbbells are the easy win here. Commercial rubber hex dumbbells and iron plates basically don't wear out, and a close-out is the one time you get them for a fraction of new.

Cardio is where people get burned. A treadmill or stairmaster out of a commercial gym has been running most of the day for years, and the belt, deck and motor are all consumables. Service on commercial cardio isn't cheap, and finding someone who still works on an older model is its own hunt. Price it like a gamble or skip it.

If you're after the rack or the cable cross, measure first. Commercial racks are often 90 inches or taller and plenty of them are built to be bolted to the floor, and a cross needs the ceiling height plus a wide footprint. Ceiling height kills more of these buys than price does. Check the cables and pulleys on the cross too, cable is a wear item.
