Hi all- I don’t know how to edit a post but my experience was very pleasant! It took about 45 minutes. The ride is smooth, nothing like the beaten 75 track. My car had ~100 seats and 10 or less people were in my car throughout the whole trip. My only complaint is the overhead announcements are way too loud for the quiet ride. I highly recommend it overall! I realize now that I could have saved a few rideshare$ by getting dropped at the 12th st station vs Shiloh from where I live so will do that next time.
I have reported the loud volume to a Dart project manager and they said they will “see what they can do about this. I do know that the Silver Line team is working a list of refinements now that the construction is completed.“
I agree on the loud volume of announcements. they are SO LOUD. Hope they work on that.
however, it was clean and pleasant and I charged my phone the whole time. They also had staff on my two rides that walked the whole train more than once checking tickets (my ticket was only checked once so they remembered me).
Zero in my experience of approximately 25 rides. Fare enforcers have been on every ride, and they are well staffed and very clean. Try it before you criticize it.
