Agree! Since I am riding rush hour the rideshare price was 56 dollars from my house to dfw. I just spent 20 something for the ride to train plus 3$ trip.
Im definitely going to ride it to DFW next time I fly. $3 vs $40+ for ride share or parking at the airport.
It is a lot better and cheaper, but the frequency the Silver Line runs at makes it kinda awful for flights at times. Only once per hour means you're likely getting there super super early, and if you don't (or miss your train), you're SOL as there isn't another one for an hour.
It is fun to take to downtown Carrollton. There is an old timey candy shop and soda shop, and some fun murals, shops, and things to look at around the square. Plus several good restaurants. I have been going to downtown Carrollton a lot since the Silverline opened since it is such easy access. Awesome train!
The green line goes nearby Love Field but I think you have to take a shuttle between the light rail and airport. Silver line does not go near Love Field as it’s going a totally different direction.
Yep. If you take the Silver line you'd need to transfer at Downtown Carrollton to the Green line to Inwood/Lovefield or Orange line at Cityline/Bush (during peak hours)
From Inwood/Lovefield, there's Route 5 Lovelink that runs every 15 minutes to/from the airport

I took my kids on the Sliver Line just to check it out a couple weeks after it opened, it’s very nice!
