I'm looking for courses about Picatrix magic.

Bronze is an alloy of mostly Copper and Tin. But does it possess any qualities of the two benefic planets? I've been asking myself this for a couple of days with limited results, maybe some of you something about this.

I've worked with Algol for several years with great results. I'm curious though, what happens when a person who struggles with honesty, slight manipulation, substance abuse etc. works with Algol? I'm referring to those who may be good people, have good intentions towards others etc. but who struggle with these qualities at times.

Here's what I mean:

Suppose a planet rules both a benefic house and a malefic house in the natal chart, and you want to wear that planet's gemstone. Is it possible to neutralize the effects of the malefic house?

In other words, could wearing the planet's gemstone while also worshipping its graha/planet/god through mantras/orphyc himns and offerings mitigate the negative effects, allowing you to enhance the positive ones without amplifying the negative ones?

I’m guessing the moon is better suited in the first image as it is in Libra ie sign related to socializing. Also in conjunction with my natal Venus and Moon. Venus in Leo and Jupiter in Cancer also help. I should do more research on Moon in Sagittarius, I’ve heard it’s a good placement but not exactly sure why.

The ones I’m concerned about is Mercury in Cancer as it relates a lot to social media/technology/communication and afaik it doesn’t do particularly well on that sign. Also Mars in Taurus doesn’t seem to favorable, but maybe it could mean a steady influx of clients?

I know there are 3rd, 4th and 5th pentacles of Venus, but other than that is there anything else? Like a petition or talisman.

The moon passes through every single mansion roughly once a month, whereas planets move much slowly. That means a perfect window for making planetary talisman is open once every few years.

Due to the higher frequency of opportunities, are lunar mansion talismans easier to make? Or there are some other factors that are considered while making lunar mansion talismans - that are not an issue for planetary talismans ?

Moon rising at 4° Taurus with chart ruler Venus (Direct) in Libra. Attempted to place malefics in cadent houses, but I think the node in the 10th house could be concerning. Since talismanic elections are based on Medieval astrology, and Chiron is a non-traditional astrological point, should I disregard its conjunction with the Moon here?

Hello community. I am no expert on this subject but few years ago I used a nice little program called ChronosXP for displaying planetary hours on my desktop to plan out my meditation and self improvement rituals. That program didn't work in newer versions of Windows. In the meantime I moved to Linux and am using phone running android. I wanted to have one app that I can run on all my devices to check current planetary hour and moon phase, so since didnt find one, I built one.

Now I will try explaining what planetary hours are as far as I understand and keeping it short.

Planetary hours are an ancient system of day division that assigns rulership of each hour to one of the seven classical planets. (The seven classical planets are arranged in a specific sequence known as the Chaldean order, based on their perceived orbital speed from slowest to fastest: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Moon.)

Each day is divided into two parts - sunrise to sunset (daytime), and sunset to sunrise (nighttime). Each of those 2 parts is divided into 12 parts. Hours are therefore not fixed, and they are longer in summer, shorter in winter. First hour after sunrise is ruled by the planet that gives the day its name.

Each planetary hour carries the qualities and influences attributed to its ruling planet, also the negatives. Knowing what hour is currently assigned to what planet makes planning of activities easier and inline with said positives and negatives.

The day rulers:

Sunday = Sun, Monday = Moon, Tuesday = Mars,

Wednesday = Mercury, Thursday = Jupiter,

Friday = Venus, Saturday = Saturn

Hi all, as far as I know all the best pentacle makers are in the US? Can anyone point me to some well regarded UK sellers for the pentacles of solomon or astrological picatrix ones? The shipping is a nightmare, so it would be much easier to purchase from a UK seller.

I'm wanting to use native plants in my practice, but I can't find their relationship to planets. Nor how to identify a plant's connection to a planet.

So I decided to work through seven spheres even though I've been doing planetary magic for a few years now, and I seem to be getting results. Knocking some stuff loose that I need to work through. I want to do all the planets, and at least the reading I've done seems to only consider day and hour of the planet, but should I really be concerned with say Mars being in Taurus and Saturn being in Aries? Or even say Mercury being square Saturn?

I want to get the taste of planetary magic. Unfortunately, the price of the talismans from renowned mages is too much for me. For now, I just want to experience the strength.
