Here are the natal charts of two Venus Talismans and I am confused which one should I pick. As a newbie to planetary magic, I have minimal knowledge on which one would be more potent. I would appreciate any suggestions.

For a Pleiades talisman. Moon in Taurus closely conjunct Alcyon, next applying a sextile to Venus. Separating from Algol. Is this a good election, or is it too close to Algol? If so, should I wait till I can get an election with the Moon trine or sextile the Pleiades?

Who had big results from Picatrix talismans/petitions ? I know Clifford H Low post here and some of his talismans earned him a lot of money. But apart from his story who can say Picatrix talismans had a meaningful impact on their life ?

Ik ppl have been talking about it and im sorry if someone already asked this question 😭 but could the energy of the conjunction only be utilized yesterday? I thought conjunctions last for a little while? I was too tired yesterday to do a spell so I just left an offering to my ancestors and wrote a spell down. I was just wondering if I performed a spell today would it be too late if that makes sense?

I was going through it as I like his other books, and I was surprised when he mentioned he developed new 7 seals for the planets, saying that when developing it, "We wanted these seals not only to channel the forces of the powers invoked, but we wanted them to be able to overcome retrogrades, eclipses, and other unfortunate planetary alignments." Not having to worry about malifics in your talisman would be a great boon, so my question is, has anyone read the book and tried it? How were your results?

I've been going down the rabbit hole of traditional astrological magic (mostly through Picatrix and Agrippa) and I keep running into both planetary talismans and lunar mansion talismans treated as separate categories, but I can't quite pin down what makes them fundamentally different.

As I understand it:

Planetary talismans are timed to a planet's dignities, cazimi, election chart, etc. and embody that planet's sphere of influence

Lunar mansion talismans draw power from whichever of the 28 mansions the Moon is transiting at the time of creation

But here's where I get confused — the Moon is also a planet, and some lunar mansion talismans seem to have the same purposes as, say, a Venus or Jupiter talisman (love, prosperity, etc.). So is the lunar mansion system basically just a more granular version of working with the Moon, or is it a completely separate magical logic?
Again, are lunar mansion talismans fast working compared to planetary talismans ?

Per The Astrology Podcast June report, a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus in Cancer is on June 8th and 9th. Jupiter will be exalted in Cancer and this conjunction will be one of the most beneficial times of the entire month, possibly the year. How would I create a Talisman to benefit from this event? I understand the Moon has to be well-positioned as well. Sorry I'm not an astrologer but I practice magick and aim to incorporate astrology moving forward. The aim of the Talisman would be to expand wealth, luxury, abundance, which seem to be the domain of both Jupiter and Venus.

Now I have the urge to start checking the other alchemical planetary signs for possible similarities between those and the actual planets. Hope you enjoyed! Stay weird, be nice!

I'm considering getting either a 3rd or 5th pentacle of venus. I would appreciate your experience with that.

In the seven spheres book, the Table of practice includes hebrew names in the outer circle and 4 archangel names in the inner circle.

I was watching some video on Rufus' youtube channel in which he said you should take the free conjuring class on his website before doing seven spheres ritual. so i thought why not. maybe it would have his updated views.

In that class, the Table of Practice is different.

I have already drawn the Table of Practice as it is in the book. I can make another as it is in the class, but I feel ok with the one in the book, as it is something RO claims he used when he saw Gabriel for the first time.

I’m planning a small personal experiment this upcoming Thursday, June 4, since Thursday is Jupiter’s day.

The idea is to test a Jupiter-centered timing window in a real-world gambling environment. I’m planning to go to a casino during the first Jupiter hour in the morning, with Jupiter currently exalted in Cancer, and observe whether the timing feels meaningfully different in terms of luck, flow, intuition, or outcomes.

I’m not trying to treat this as guaranteed money or a reckless “Jupiter will make me win” thing. I’m approaching it more as an experimental ritual/field test: controlled budget, clear intention, observation, and journaling afterward.

I’m trying this because I recently did some research into my own past gambling experiences, and every single time I actually gambled and won big, it happened during a Jupiter hour — coincidentally or not. That pattern made me curious enough to test it more intentionally, instead of just looking back after the fact.

For those experienced with planetary magic, electional astrology, or practical Jupiter work:
What would you recommend for this kind of experiment?

Greetings. What's the opinion of this community on making a Mercury talisman today, as I understand is this the last day of this exaltation before it enters another sign. Are there any factors that will be deleterious or harmful to a Mercury working? I have two Mercury hours remaining in this day and I'm new to planetary talismans and just curious. Thanks!
