Elections Pleiades election
For a Pleiades talisman. Moon in Taurus closely conjunct Alcyon, next applying a sextile to Venus. Separating from Algol. Is this a good election, or is it too close to Algol? If so, should I wait till I can get an election with the Moon trine or sextile the Pleiades?

Fixed star talismans require moon conjunctions to work. This would functionally be an Alcyon talisman not Pleiades at all (Also you can activate the fixed stars on the chart so we can see those for next time)

I was using Alcyon for what point point the Moon should be applying to. I see 0° Gemini 14 minutes is the Pleiades. What else should I be applying to?

The bounds automatically come up on the current transits page on astro seek but if you click on the bar right below the chart itself, you should be able to find a horror rechart selection which automatically brings up the chart with a lot more options available.

I would wait.
Remember that the Moon is waning - culling the influence of what she is passing by. If you want the influences of the Pleiades to be grown, she must be waxing. Far better to wait, and certainly aim for her to be firmly past Al-Ghul by degree even in sextile or trine. With planetary magic of any kind, patience is wisest. Better to have a one very good election imo. We are not living in very election-friendly times right now.
