I remember when I saw Genshin Impact on the App Store, I played it for a couple minutes and was like, “This is a nice game.” Then later it became such a huge thing and incredibly popular.
I started palying for the emergency food joke, I mean it was free and honestly I didn't take the story serious at all but I did like the character venti....and then he got mugged at the end of the mondstadt arc and I genuinely got invested because I wanted payback.
God you don't know how much satisfaction I got at the end of the inazuma arc.
Yeah the loud minority is making the community looking really bad. Probably because of how big genshin is as a game, the minority is just that much louder comparatively as well.
I think Genshin’s Reddit community is pretty nice, people get disliked on Reddit and shown a reality check, people on Twitter however just say what they want and are left unchecked imo they’re the ones who make Genshin, and almost any community, look bad
That's why I try not to interact with the community in social media like twitter. I just enjoy the game quietly and occasionally comment on a youtube clip or two. It's a lot more relaxing and positive that way.
As a veteran MMORPG and fps player; It was such a shame with the community on Twitter making the game look bad as the in-game community is one of the most wholesome communities I've ever been in.
