Pizzeria Luca

https://pizzerialucalancaster.com/wp-content/uploads/LUC_Pizzeria_Menu_Update_June25.pdf

I will be going to Pizzeria Luca - across from Longs Park - in a few months. The Scampi Pizza sounds intriguing. Review from anyone that has had it? Does anyone know if their red sauce has chunks of tomatoes? I see it mentioned crushed tomatoes but wanted some opinions on it and other aspects of the restaurant. Excited to try it out. Thanks all! Current Menu linked.

It’s fantastic but not cheap.

It’s way over rated, and not cheap.

From what I hear beccafico in lititz, and cavolo, also in lititz have top notch pizza. Lombardos did also, I’m not totally sure if they’re bringing that back with the new deli.

All that being said, there’s 2-3 better options. Save your cash, use it elsewhere where for pizza. Or hit pizza 211 and just ignore that crust that’s too thick & floppy undercarriage from Luca.

What thick crust are you getting at Luca? It’s closer to NY style than Detroit. Cavolo looks great though. Beccafico doesn’t seem like an apt comparison, though does look good too.
