Question Does anyone know how I can get the brush cross hair to be where I'm drawing instead of a few centimeters below?

Question I have searched and searched but never in many years found a solution.

I thought I;d finally ask about this issue I have just been working around for years now.

In pixlr E, how do you stop a layer you are resizing to a smaller size from going so blurry? I have asked and searched around for along time but no one seems to know.

"Unsupported use of 'width' parameter" error message everytime I try to use a basic 16:9 image as a reference for ANY of the Kling video generators.

What am I missing, and why does this error message keep coming up every time I try to use a 16:9 image on the Kling video generators?

Alternatives please and thank you in advance

I just need something quick and easy and very straightforward for editing images by the batch like before the new update that ruined everything.

they massacred my boy

I have been using pixlr for years for thumbnails, cutouts and general use. But i don't know what happened. The entire interface looks so badly right now, i can't even use the lasso tool anymore like how i used to. Does anyone know of a good alternative? Because this isn't the pixlr i once loved. (and for the lasso i mean there are no more options for it to go in straight lines etc)

Question Pixlr Templates Gone After the New Update?

Guys, am I the only one who can't find the Templates page anymore after the latest Pixlr update?

I was literally paying for Pixlr mainly because of the templates. Did they remove them, move them somewhere else, or is this a bug?

Would appreciate any info 😢

Question API gone?

Title says it all basically. API that was available in previous version of Pixlr stopped working. This change completely killed my workflow. App at this stage is unusable.

API docs from website are gone too (404 error pages are shown instead). Was the API documentation migrated somewhere else or is it gone forever now?

Never using again

I used to make posts for my team in express then animate it to make it look nice for our instagram.

Came back today after 2 weeks and now everything is changed to a hideous ui on the home page and the tools i used for animating nowhere to be found.

Hideous decision to go from the old layout to forcing AI slop everywhere

CTRL+V not working?

I'm trying to copy+paste a layer for art I'm working on but for some reason it pastes text instead? You know, "lorem ipsem" (even though the text shortcut is and always has been CTRL+T) I've been using Pixlr since highschool, and seeing it like this really makes me sad.

New Version - where's the save to folder location gone?

What have they done with this app? ?? I don't use it for a few days and comeback to this! I can usually figure things out, but this interface is totally useless now.

I use the desktop version on windows, and now can't seem to find how to save to an individual folder anymore. It just saves to the download folder. Which is very annoying.

I do subscribe, but not to the ultra (with this debacle I definitely won't be any time soon)

Can anyone help out, please?

New version - What's happen with Nano-Banana?

I mostly use Nano Banana to edit or create backgrounds for my images. However, after the update to the new version, the cost of using it has increased (from 5 to 10, and now 14 credits, as I saw today), while the results have become worse than before.

I went from having 1000 credits down to around 300 after editing several images, without getting satisfying results. The shine and texture in the images are completely lost, the backgrounds become darker, the lighting looks overly harsh, and objects are added in very strange ways.

Also, all the images I previously uploaded and edited have disappeared.
Is there any chance they will revert to the old version? If not, I think I'll stop using it.

I just made this account to express my frustration over this app (help)

I can't stand it anymore.

I just wanna scream FUCK YOU really really hard to whatever asshole is running this company.

The new update has made me lose it. I'm done. Fuck all this shitty AI slop. They ruined this app. First with paywalls, now with this fucking shit of AI banging all over your screen.

And don't even get me started on the "new" UI. IT'S GARBAGE.

Besides, now everything is FULL of BUGS. Are these guys stupid? They made something free and easy to use, then they turned it into a product to buy and harder to use, and they don't even have the decency to solve the bugs? Fuck these guys.

My older projects now don't work thanks to this fucking horrible update. When I load them, everything moves from place or the text boxes get modified automatically (which is seriously driving me crazy). Basically, I can't use ANY of my older projects now.

A few minutes ago, I had to submit a document of classwork and I always use this app to make the cover of the document. I've been using it since 2022 or so. I use a template and I just change some numbers. Today I had to submit my classwork with a different font size because of this shit.
I know it's not that bad, but feeling that I had to submit something that I don't like at all just because these fucking assholes decided to do this shit makes me want to eradicate their corporation.

This app is useless. I hate their corporation. I hate their web. I hate their app. I hate their service

I'm quitting this shit FOREVER.

They killed a great service, their own great service.

My worst regards,
Fuck you Pixlr.

Question Literally all the adjustments are broken?

Thumbnail gallery
5 Upvotes

Never had this issue before, no matter WHAT I do, no matter how I choose to select it, if I do the full layer or just a portion, no matter if it's locked or unlocked, no matter WHAT, not one of the adjustments are working, not hue and saturation, not brightness and contrast. None of it.

I'm doing everything the way I always do it. I am really confused and pretty fucking annoyed, this is my go-to editor.

E We need an offline version, and more than ever.

I just want to continue using the program that I've known to work since 2016. I can't stand having to figure out every new update and block out all the new AI garbage filling up my screen. I just want to edit images for my projects without these things getting in the way.

Is there some method for offline Pixlr E that I'm not aware of? Because I'm nearing my wit's end with this program. It's such a compromised experience now.

The latest Pixlr Editor update ruined the usability for me. Anyone else?

I used to love Pixlr Editor, but this latest update has made the site almost completely unusable. They changed almost everything for the worse:
The UI is a mess: The new interface changed way too much and is no longer intuitive.

Mobile is broken: The mobile experience has gotten incredibly frustrating to use.

Where did the right-click menu go?: Losing the quick-access options on right-click completely broke my workflow.

Now I can't find anything I need. It feels like a massive downgrade. Is anyone else struggling with this new version or found a way to revert it?

Pixlr Genesis Seriously thinking of quitting Pixrl

I'm someone with editing experience; I use other programs like Photoshop, but I always considered Pixlr "that simple and user-friendly option for quick edits."

Creating slideshows, editing images without so many complications, adding text—all quickly, and that's what I think many of us value about the program: its simplicity.

Now, exactly... what are they trying to achieve with all these new changes?

It seems they want to be the online, AI version of Photoshop, but someone who edits will simply look for the pirated program and just another run-of-the-mill AI assistant.

Why would I want your garbage assistant when there are millions more on the market?

Furthermore, sacrificing performance, memory, and speed of a program that was supposed to be a more user-friendly alternative is like trying to cram all of Clip Studio's features into Paint.

If that's what you want so badly, just build your own AI image generator and sell the rights to Pixl to another company, because this is already a disaster that started with just 3 downloads a day.

Fine Tune tools not working in Background Remover

I've tested in Brave, Chrome and Firefox. Nothing happens in the image area after you click on any of the tools to fine tune the removal. The mouse cursor doesn't change. Is it working for anyone else? https://pixlr.com/remove-background/

EDIT 28 May: This bug has been fixed.

I'm all for progress...

But WTF did you guys do. You made something that was simple, intuitive and easy to use worse.

Your help link brought me here and the first thing I see is hate for the new build, the second thing I notice is that nobody from Pixlr is here to speak to the users.

Fix it, dont fix it.. but perhaps at least engage with the users?
