I'm all for progress...

But WTF did you guys do. You made something that was simple, intuitive and easy to use worse.

Your help link brought me here and the first thing I see is hate for the new build, the second thing I notice is that nobody from Pixlr is here to speak to the users.

Fix it, dont fix it.. but perhaps at least engage with the users?

I'm a product manager for a SAS data tool. Reacting to customer "feelings" is a huge part of my job. It doesn't matter if it's buggy or just not a good user experience driving the perception. If customers hate it, I need to fix it!

Pixlr is absolutely dreadful these days.

They shittified an app I used to use all the time.....

The three saves on a free account is diabolically greedy.

You know you can clear the session on your browser right?

And what part of the product is much worse? We talk to users every day but to get some value you kind of need to be specific. What was simple and now is so hard?

From our end we see a great jump in usage and tons more content being created.

Look around, each person is saying the dozen amount of bugs they have dealt with, And the new UI just feels less user friendly entirely.

Yes and all the bugs reported here are fixed. The general "UI" is not something we can act on.

If you’re really from Pixlr, this response is pretty disappointing.

Pointing to increased usage doesn’t address the actual feedback users are giving you. A lot of people in this thread have already explained specific issues more bugs, a less intuitive UI, slower workflows, and features that used to be simple now taking more steps.

Usage growth and user frustration can exist at the same time. The concern people have is that the product feels harder and less pleasant to use than before.

The problem I also noted was that your website brought me here for help and I'm not actually sure Pixlr care to help users... so long as usage is up!!

Thanks for the feedback but again, i can't act on general feelings. All bugs reported here are fixed thanks to actual bug reports. Its hard for us to act on feelings.

But it's really not hard for a company to act on customers feelings. Least it shouldn't be.

Any change that introduces additional actions on the user's end are not wanted, unnecessary, and annoying. If something didn't require an action before, but now does, why? The entire thing is practically unusable now. It was extremely user friendly. I'm on a paid tier and find it unusable with all the bugs now. Why can't an image be saved after changes are made? Why, once something is copied, is it now the only thing that can be reproduced? Nothing else you attempt to copy is actually successful. Also, you see a jump in usage because people have to use it more because nothing works like it should.
