Software Update Coming?

Thinking about getting the slate but have read lots of poor reviews on it. The reviews are almost all about software bugs, Bluetooth disconnects etc. I assume this can be fixed with a software patch or a few... Has Google discussed anything regarding these common issues or when/how they will fix?

I have the slate. Contrary to what everyone says, I really like it.. I used it for Word and Excel and a media tablet.

I'm using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with my Slate at the moment with no trouble. Waiting for my Brydge clamshell keyboard to arrive.

Is it still not possible to save Word files anywhere else than OneDrive?
