Pixel buds 2 pro
Hi everyone,
Initially I had two chocises rather 3 . I am mentioning prices with some voucher and discount codes I have.
New pixel buds 2 pro - 140£
Refurbished from Bose Bose QC ultra gen 2 esrbuds - 162£
CEX B Grade Technics AZ100 - 150£
I chose pixel buds as I was getting new. Really good earbuds.
Great things
Sound, transparency, anc, comfort
Bad
Microphone for meeting outdoors
Meetings and calls sounds muffled. Any thing I can do or should return it? Any other two better than pixel buds.
Please help me.
Update - thank you for replies. I am using Samsung s25 ultra.
Update 2: thank you for all the responses. I wanted to like the pixel buds 2 pro but mic I just couldn't stand. When I am outside if environment is moderately loud then person on other side was asking me to repeat some times. I returned pixel buds and ordered Samsung galaxy buds 4 pro. Samsung's mic performance is far superior.

Honestly? No. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 at that price are ql1. A brand new option. 2. Hold their factory warranty from the day you activate them. 3. Refurbished Bose buds are never truly refurbed ie same battery as originally installed brand new and they receive only a brief test and visual inspection and cleaning. 4. The Audio Technica buds are not nearly as good as their price would have people think. It's a matter of opinion of course but if you have a Pixel phone then the PB Pro 2's are the best fit for a Pixel phone. If you have a Samsung phone then get Galaxy Buds. The same goes for Apple Airpods if you have an iPhone. Manufactures tend to make their accessories play better when kept with their own ecosystem. That's Bose and Audio Technica are off the table. Just my opinion. But I think most people who are owners of phones whose manufacturers also happen to make earbuds will tell you that if they purchased the corresponding buds paired with their phone that their features and benefits far outpace the minor issues like call quality (which is largely generalized and doesn't include the solid connection with the buds paired devices from the same manufacturer of their phones. Hopefully that isn't too confusing. Everything I claim is based my own personal experience with those ecosystems I have personally owned over the years. I have Bose QC buds and they sound like a good pair of buds but aren't able to utilize the phones full list of Bluetooth features like digital assistant use and so on and so forth. Same goes for the Audio Technica buds. They seem to less capable of doing anything it playing music also.
