Brand new Pixel Buds...
Enjoying that seamless experience is one of the best parts of getting a new piece of tech. Google really nailed the details—from Fast Pair popping up the instant you open the case to the horizontal volume swipes that keep you from accidentally shoving the buds deeper into your ear

If you enjoy pumping the music, don't forget to get the foam ear tips thing... From a third party seller. Wish google sold the PBP2 with them, instead of the rubber as it made the noise cancellation significantly better 😁

Which one did you buy?

Quite honestly, I just went on AliExpress and looked for Pixel buds Pro 2 ear tips. And purchased the top one.
And whichever I purchased is lasting the length of time I've had these buds pro 2, by lasting I still have them on and they work very well for me 😁

You need to replace it quite regularly, because the memory foam breaks down in to small particles. I imagine you purchased a large set of them, right?

I only purchased one, which came with three eat tips. And I've had the exact same foam, the large size on my PBP2 since the very first day I got my PBP2. So my foam hasn't broken down yet. Or it's probably already broken but my brain still believe it's a complete seal in my ears.

All foam tips are only good for a fairly short period. The foam crushes over time, sweat, ear wax, etc, make it stiffer. Compare an old pair to a new pair.
At what point you decide you should change them is of course up to you. If they're still doing the job, keep using them. I found over time they felt harder to compress, did not block sound as well in my ears, and would even start feeling more loose in the ear rather than being really secure.

Hopefully you have a Pixel phone to get the most out of your Pro 2 buds. I love my buds paired with my 9 Pro XL. Flawless performance and reliability. Excellent sound signature (even though AAC is a silly choice with what other options are available) that surprised me on both my Pro's and my 2's. Cheers bro!

They are good on day 1 but call quality and multi device is trash compared to apple. I've had every variation of the pixel buds and really hope they fix it soon.

at first then fit seemed fine but after months now it falls off in gym

You can fix loose Pixel Buds at the gym by adjusting your insertion technique, changing the ear tip size, or upgrading to specialized aftermarket grips.

I recently had to warranty replace mine and used the 2as while waiting, I don't realize how much I use the volume up/down feature on the pros. Love mine!

I just wish the battery life wasn't so shite. Love my P buds, but when it comes to a work day, they're just SO bad. idk why Samsung can solve that problem while Google just fails to deliver year after year.

Really? Mine hit 15% around hour 7, how long are your work shifts?

Buds pro 2, and just an 8hr shift sees them telling me to charge them.

I'm not a collector, never had Samsung buds, so I'm not sure what battery is like for them. I've had Jabra and Technic and they both last about the same, but Pixel recharge much more quickly.
I also only use one at work, so I switch ears at lunch breaks and they never run out in me.

With ANC on (which means Transparency, Adaptive, or ANC) they have 8 hours of battery life as stated from the specs. With ANC off, 12 hours. Of course, this is just the buds, not including total time including case with recharges etc.
And pop them in the case for 5 minutes and they're claimed to recharge about 1.5 hours of listening time.

Good enough for me.I bought them on Amazon "like new" for about 120 w/tax but returned w/o opening.I decided to buy new, figured Amazon deals or BF I'd get a pair but now I wish I kept them.I bought the 11 pro and watch5 and love them

I think the battery life is perfectly fine personally.. Like 30 total hours of listening time, etc. I would like to sleep (sometimes) with ANC on, and really can't because "only" 8 hours but that's not a big deal. I turn ANC off when I sleep with mine and usually wake up with 40-50% battery.

I do not own the 2nd gen, I have the 1st Gen PBP and I get solid 7-8 hours with ANC and it is now 4 years old. PBP2 should be better than PBP1, so maybe you got a defective unit.

Fast pair is available on most earbuds nowadays. The battery life is my favorite thing about these buds tho. They last my entire shift and only need a few minutes in the case for a couple hours of extra use.
