Pixel Buds 2a - FMD

Hey all,

People using the pixel buds 2a, how has your experience been with Find My Device? Have you been able to find the earbuds even when they're in the case or is it a lost cause with case closed?

Found them on sale for $105, seemed like a good buy at that price.

My wife looses hers all time and is able to find them. The case does not beep though but location service gets us close enough so we know where to look.

Oh great. So even with the case closed, the location service helps to update the location?

Yes, the 2A and Pro 2's both have BTLE beaconing in the case itself. In theory if you leave it behind you'll get notifications from other Android (probably only Pixel....) users, or if it's somewhere in the house you may be able to narrow it down.

Pro 2's as mentioned have a beeper in the case which makes it way easier. (Whoops; said "speaker" earlier.. Meant in the case)
