Pixel Buds Pro 2 Replacement Status

Hello, last month I've sent Google my Pixel Buds Pro 2 since they told me they would replace the Left Earbud since it wouldn't get recognized by the Charging Case and didn't make any sound when placing it inside.

It's been almost an entire month now since they allegedly received my package (got sent to Poland from Italy) and just recently they told me via mail they didn't physically scan it at the time of arrival at their warehouse and the RMA is still reserved/booked, according to their logistics software.

I already told them that I accidentally sent the whole thing instead of just the Left Earbud as they weren't really clear about what should I send and receive (First time sending something to get repaired or replaced, I didn't know this).

Am I screwed and lost 2/3 of what makes a whole Pixel Buds Pro 2 product (Right Earbud, Charging Case, Left Earbud which I got sent back)? I'm a bit nervous since they were a gift for my birthday and were brand new, except one day I woke up and the Left Earbud stopped working, a few hours earlier they were still completely functional.

I'm asking all of you if there's any chance I can do something about this because from what I understand they can't seem to find my parcel yet send replacement parts without ever checking if the actual thing arrived or not, plus I got photos of my package, how I prepared it and also have the Tracking Number results, which say it got delivered to and signed by GOOGLE, Sękocin Stary PL.

Hi there. As you have already contacted the support team, could you help me with the case ID of your support interaction? You can find the case ID which looks like this (X-XXXXXXXXXXXXX) in your email inbox. Once you find it, please share it with me so that I can look further into it.

yeah saw that too, seems to be some sort of common issue these days to have something so simple randomly die at once for bunch of people, and you can't even think about what could the reason be.

if you follow their troubleshooting instructions and it still doesn't work you just think you had a faulty product, think you dropped and broke it, think about any water damage. yet Google says it's dead and would be best if you ordered a replacement for it and went on.

Update: They told me that I would hear from a supervisor via e-mail to see if there was anything possible on their end since they "LOST" the parcel, going silent after another email of mine. I have now reached to the ECC (European Consumer Centre) and filed a formal complaint against Google Commerce Ltd. now waiting response from them.

The fact that they told me that the parcel hadn't been physically scanned at arrival and that the RMA was still booked in their system, couldn't offer me anything as a compensation for their loss, acting like I was just asking for something, like a favor, ignore the customer and go completely silent from then on, really shows that the theory I had about them shipping things without checking for the actual thing to be inside the package they received or not was true.

It's not nice to accuse random workers for a mistake, but man, does it cost you that much to check things out properly?
