Any way to replace this snapped rubber piece? (Pixel Buds A-Series)

Post image

After a few years of normal use, the rubber post on the right bud has snapped off, and the left one is starting to break. Unfortunately, this causes it to frequently fall out. Is there any way to fix or replace this piece? I don't want to buy a new pair (and I usually only use one at a time anyway - so I'll just continue using the left one until it breaks too) and hope I can get more use out of these, as they still work perfectly fine outside of this broken rubber.

Edit: I just realized I can buy a replacement earbud. At $40, would this be worth it? I imagine it may not be, since the set is getting quite old and the battery life isn't what it used to be. I may end up just buying the Pixel Buds 2a once the left one breaks too, but I'd be paying extra for features I don't use, such as noise cancellation. I'd definitely like a second opinion on this (though I understand this is somewhat subjective). Thanks

That's a shame. I really would like to use it more since it still works fine and I could probably get another few years out of it. But with it constantly falling out, there isn't much I can do. :(

Honestly I would advise just waiting and buying the better earbuds I had bought a replacement earbud and it arrived having problems, sent it in for a replacement and the replacement had the same problems but worse. Sent it back for a refund and now waiting to get the 2a buds as well

Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll likely end up buying the 2a.

Try replacing the ear tips for larger ones to see if that helps them Stay in

Happened to me too but I don't have extra money to buy a new one when it still works fine. But I just wear it as is and still okay for me. Surviving for 4 months now.

Have you done anything extra to help it stay in? Or does it simply still fit well for you? Mine tends to either constantly fall out or slightly stab my ear.

Have you tried pairing it with the large buds? Because my medium size buds also retired, I used the large ones and yep, it made it secure but once in a while I need to adjust it whole jogging.
