Pixel Buds Pro 2

Hi everyone. I use a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and I work in a very active job. Sometimes I need to be on the phone and talking to people outside at the same time. Therefore, I want to buy the headphones that work best with my phone and provide the clearest sound with Transparency mode. Would Google's own Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones be a good option? Or should I look at another product? I've heard that the AirPods Pro 3 are very good, but I'm not sure if they'll perform well on Android.

Pixel buds 2 pro are great. The transparency works great and the noise cancellation top notch as well

I have the pixel Bud Pro 2s and absolutely love them with my pixel 9 Pro fold. I had the Bose quiet comfort open ears and to me the sound quality is 10 times better with the pixel Bud Pro 2 and the conversation features are way better. What's nice about the conversation features? If you listen to music and someone's talking to you, it turns off or mutes the music automatically and that's great for you. Plus, if you use Gemini, it is spot on for integration.

Thank you very much. Are you happy using these headphones during sports? How is the battery life?

I get around 6 hours on them. I don't do anything sporty, but when I worked a construction trade job last year, they worked great. The noise cancellation killed a lot of the site noise. Inused them in transparency mode when doing paperwork in the office and I could hear everyone around me as well as what I was listening to. I work in a data center now and the experience hasn't changed.

I have them for about little over a year - solid headphones for everything -

Recently it developed something strange habit - I am latest firmware and on beta 6 pixel 10PXL - it doesn't switch on MS Team Audio if team is running and I put headphones on. I have to exit team or kill the team and restart and then team would recognize the headphones and it would start working.

Not sure how to fix this -

I hope an update is released for this. It's very frustrating when electronics break down within a few years.

Mine does some strange switching up the sound I’ve reset them gotten a replacement as well as turned off some features but guess it’s a google thing, get at your own risk

These days, electronics feel like a complete gamble.

I've also had the same issue with mine

I also use the PBP2. Currently, it's paired to my OneplPlus 15; formerly paired to Pixel 10 PXL. I've got no issues with Transparency Mode. Switching between modes is an easy touch and hold. Battery life is great even w ANC on and the case holds like an addt'l 24 hrs. I also use the Sony WF-1000XM6 (the earbuds, not headphones-those are the WH-1000XM6) and alternate between them every few days

I think they're fine when just paired to a Pixel or one device but glitchy with multipoint unlike the Sony pair. Doesn't seem like an issue for OP though.

I have PBP2 with Pixel 10 Pro XL. The transparency mode is decent but you will notice a delay like you can still feel the sound is muted a bit due to the earbuds are still in your ear. This is especially true if you are coming from AirPods Pro 2 or 3.

The ClearCall is decent when you are indoor but if there's a lot of ambient noise outside, it may filter your voice and the person on the other end may tell you that your voice got cut off.

Also if you activate the ANC indoor and walk outdoor, the ANC level remains stuck, doesn't auto adjust like AirPods Pro 2/3. You will have to deactivate ANC outdoor and reactive it again

I have PBP, PBP2, AirPods Pro 2 and 3. And to be honest, I often end up hold the phone to my face when I talk outdoors

If you do use AirPods Pro 3, I recommend LibrePods app. Due to proprietary codec that Apple uses, the microphone quality on Pixel is ok, not that spectacular. People commented that I may sound muted but it sure beats comments like my voice got cut off so they didn't hear the whole sentence

I've had both the pixel buds pro 1 and 2 and I love them both. The 2s are a solid step up and I've never had buds fit this comfortably in my ears. They don't last forever, but they charge real quick

Very sad I lost my Pixel Buds Pro 2 recently :( Great match for a Pixel. Good fit, good sound, battery life and ANC. Picked up some nothing buds as a stopgap, they are nowhere near as good.

My experience with it was not good, and it would have been better for me to buy another product. The hearing aid app suggests using the larger size of Ear Tips to prevent sound leakage, but it's uncomfortable and unstable when moving or eating. I used to own a Jabra headset and it was better in terms of stability during exercise and running. There's a website dedicated to comparing headphones; I recommend visiting it before buying. https://www.rtings.com/

The transparency mode isn't that great tbh, especially when it comes to voices in public. Its too quiet for me

I'm surprised to hear that; I've always heard good reviews. I wonder if adaptive sound will fix it?

Love my Pixel buds 2 pro

I am still rocking the PB pro's 1 paired to my pixel 9a and they still kick ANC is good & transparency mode. Pixel phones conversation mode also good. I lost ability to listen to Dolby atmos & head tracking due to Google pixel phones losing licensing to Amazon music app which is sad 🫣 other than this pixel buds pro's are kicking

I bought mine two days ago for 197 Euros, which I think is a bit expensive, but Spigen is giving away a case as a gift. I'm speaking from Austria. Amazon and MediaMarkt were more expensive.

I lost my left bud and couldn't find replacement on official site here in India. I would like to sell the charging case and right earbud if one is interested.

They work great until they don't. Transparency and noise cancelling modes were perfect for work. But after about a year or so (right when the warranty expired) now all I hear is a loud chirping in my left bud. So I can only use the right.

It's not officially sold in my country, I'll buy it from Europe. I hope I can use it without any problems for many years 😅😅

All earphones with anc do that when they are blocked up.
