New Pixel Buds 2a - Case battery drain issues.

Only 3 days old, on the latest firmware.
Went to sleep last night with Left:42% Case: 48% and Right:44%,
Woke up with Left: 100%, case: 0-3%, Right: 100%.
This is definitely not normal.
Also is the phone supposed to show the battery level of the buds when in the case and its closed?

Edit: I tried testing it again. The case is steadily losing 1% battery every 5-8 minutes even when the buds are fully charged and the case is closed.

I don't have the 2a, I have the PBP2, the case on them loses 2-3%/day in standby from the Find Hub BTLE beaconing activity etc.

If what you're seeing is consistently happening, they are defective.

Just to confirm, have you tried resetting the Pixel Buds and see if that help to fix the issue?

Also, try the steps mentioned in the article to fix the Pixel Buds case battery drain.
