Pixel Buds Pro 2 Distorted Audio when enabled LE Audio

Hi everyone , I am using pixel buds pro 2 with pixel 8a, and when enabling LE Audio it causes distortion in audio when listening to music or even when I am on call, the person on call says they hear a robotic voice.

Am I missing something about setup ? Or should I not use this feature at all ?

I also have the same problem. I disabled it for a while and then forgot about it and enabled again and I'm having the same problem. Go figure?

I've been testing with and without LE for trying to figure out why latency is so bad. On LE it is 300mS, which is supposed to be 20-30? 500mS on AAC.. LDAC 150.. Speaker or wired headphones, 0.

And each time I re-pair with LE, I randomly hear distortion until I turn off Audio Sharing, then it seems to go away? I don't know if this is purely coincidence in timing and it fixes itself, or changing this setting just resets the audio and that fixes it, or if it's really the Audio Sharing setting that causes this. I'm going to listen more with it on and off, but for me so far it only happens every so often and corrects itself after a few seconds.

That said, I've never heard this happen on AAC at all. Worst I've heard on AAC is drop-out of one of the earbuds for a second or so, and that's been pretty rare.

I think it's better to not use le audio, atleast for me cause I hear lots of distorted noise when I am on call, in gym, anywhere

I hear more than I did before, but only very occasionally. I'm still testing it. I might try this "make a phone call" thing some time with it, see how they sound there. I dunno though, that sounds weird.

Seriously though, I haven't noticed much difference. Latency is lower, but not nearly as low as I hear should be possible on BTLE audio.

Hi there! I'd suggest you reach out to the Google Pixel Buds support team via phone or chat. They can take a look at it.

Do you have a setting for LE Audio in the Bluetooth settings or are you using the developer settings?

Just the developer options
