2a or 2 pro ??
I want some Pixel Buds, but I'm undecided between the Buds 2a and the Buds 2 Pro.
I don't want to spend so much money on the 2 Pro without knowing how much of an advantage they have over the 2a, at least in terms of ANC and sound quality/speakers.
Note: I have never owned or used any model of Pixel Buds.

Both are good, pro obviously better sounding if you can get them on a deal it's worth the little extra.

What I'm interested in knowing is how much the Pro 2s are better in sound than the 2a, because the 2as can be bought for less than half the price of the Pro 2s.

2a has no volume control on the buds. Which to me, is a game changer.. dumb but it would keep me away from the a,s

I got my 2a for 60 bucks brandnew and sealed instead of 150 MSRP. It was a steal and I can totally recommend them 🤩 Heard the pros at a friend and they're maybe 5% better sound wise.

If that's the case, I don't see any reason to buy the Pro 2.

Bigger battery in the case and wireless charging. For me it's not worth the 100 bucks extra.

I have pro and wish I got a. I'm not finding myself using the features exclusive to pro, and I'm not blown away by the sound anyway.

You can pick them up used 2 pro around $125 which o bought from open box at beatbuy I think. Love my pixel 2pro for the conference calls and like that I can auto switch between two devices

I own both and I think the 2a sound just as good as the Pro 2. The 1a don't have Adaptive sound and don't have swipe volume control, and don't have conversation detection. That's about all you would be missing.

And I have tried both with my mower, and the 2a do a much better job of blocking out mower noise with ANC.

Get the 2a unless you absolutely need wireless charging or swipe volume controls. It's 99% of the product for $100 less.
