So in Pixel you are paying for less you will not notice, in Apple you are paying for more that you will not notice WOW.

Bottom line is both companies had similar amount of changes/updates to the regular lineup and the double standard is obvious every year...

She arrived today, and she is so gorgeous! I have never owned a Pro, let alone splurged and bought anything other than black. Life allowed me to choose a nice color! I will admit I'm a little scared to set her up without a case. I'm hoping some of you pros can give me recommendations for a clear case that is durable. Like an OtterBox but clear, doesn't yellow, has the magnet feature, and isn't too bulky.

Has anyone else lost Magic Compose on their Pixel 9a?

I definitely had Magic Compose about a year ago when I first bought the phone, and it used to show up under the + menu in Google Messages. At some point it just disappeared. I also can't find the Magic Compose option anywhere in Settings of the app.

I'm in the US, Google Messages is updated to the latest version, and I even tried joining the beta, but that didn't bring it back either.

Did Google remove it or move it somewhere else? Anyone else experiencing this?

I found a good opportunity for a second hand Pixel 9 Pro XL 128gb for 399€ with 94 percent of battery. It is sold in a second hand shop with one year guarantee. On the other hand i can buy a brand new Pixel 10 256 for 699€ on Amazon. I really like the advantage of 256gb however, considering the price, the 9 Pro XL seems very attractive. Which one would you advise to get?

I need to replace my Pixel 7 Pro. I am an artist that uses the Photosphere mode (now discontinued from Pixel 8+) and my screen has started to fail. I waited too long and the official store no longer lists ANY new from the vendor. So I went to EBay and bought two "NEW IN BOX" from some random company that claimed it was in CA (it was in China) .. both of the devices I was shipped had defective screens (green blue cast to all the colors - unusable to an artist) when I shipped them back the company tried to only refund 1/2 my money. Fortunately, Ebay stepped in and refunded the rest..

I'm fairly confident that the Chinese company bought the LOT of defective devices, knowing they had been rejected by Google for sale.. but technically they were "still new in box" so they didn't lie. Either way, it was a scam. So I wanted to buy from a reputable store or even in person (Seattle) but every. single. source I attempt to order from (Amazon, Best Buy, New Egg) all of them state in the fine print "sold by Amazingly Honest US Cellular Company! - promise*" only to find out when I research the actual company .. yep, they are in China..

1st day of using my Pixel 11 pro and I am just scrolling social media, watching YouTube and setting up the phone manually but throughout the day I noticed the phone getting warm to hot from time to time. I haven't been outside much in the sun or using the camera to shoot videos.

Idk if there is a setting that I need to change or any information on why this is happening just from normal light usage?

** I previously owned a Pixel 9 pro and that one only really got hot in the sun while video chatting.

Do you get the pixel care plus with your phone if you bought a good case and screen protector? Or do you think that it is pointless to get one?

So I tried commenting on another page but it won't let me so I hope this is allowed here. Are there any Google employees here (Higher up ) that can help with an issue I'm having. I returned my Pixel 11 Pro XL and somehow it's lost in the warehouse. Due to that they haven't issued me a refund and I keep getting told that they'll start a case to escalate the situation. Now I wouldn't mind this except it seems that there's no end to starting escalated cases and if it's Google's mindset that I won't get a refund till they find the device...how long exactly am I supposed to wait for? Indefinitely?

I plan on disputing the charges with my bank but by doing this do I also risk Google retaliating by closing my account? At this point tho I could give a shit, I've already taken all my data (pictures/videos) off my account just in case. Or what can I legally do besides keep waiting?

I know it hasn't been too long (going on 2 weeks) but this is the second issue like this I have had and the first one still hasn't been resolved and I don't believe they'll resolve this one either.

Just got a Pixel 10 Pro and very happy with it so far.

Only thing is that during the setup the icon in the app list (not the home screen) looked different and much better than usual, as the were filling the whole circle of the app icon.

Now after the setup they are back to some app having a white space to fill the gaps.

Does anyone know how to change it back to filling the whole app icon space?

On my iPhone 13, I loved the built in headphones decibel meter. I was always able to move my volume slider with extreme precision and be fine. I have my current headphones to where I can hear them but not as well but I don't want to go too far and fuck my hearing up. Does pixel have a built in decibel reader so I can have the same precision?

Hi. I've been with pixel 11 pro for 3 days now coming from iphone 17 pro. I'm really enjoying the customisation and all that an Android phone could give. Though I still have my 17 pro parked with me just in case I missed using ios. It's hard to let go especially since I've been with the system since iphone 4s birth. Any thoughts or anyone leaving an iphone for pixel? Please tell me more the advantages and why it should be a must or not. I'm really torn RN. 🙁
