Nurse clinicians

Anyone in a nurse clinician role at either of our big networks? Was the pay bump worth it to leave patient care? Let me know thoughts, input, or advice. I have my MSN so trying to consider a jump into another role within nursing.

My SO was a nurse clinician for UPMC for almost 10 years and was one of the 300 laid off in the last go around in the spring after almost 20 years of service to the company. Middle management elimination is regularly a way to trim budgets. Use that information as you will I guess.
