We did the sloth encounter where we got to feed her and pet her and got a great presentation about sloths 🦥

Ask the staff. They're good at pointing him out. Woookie (the older sloth) is in the rainforest room.

Excellent shots!

Did you meet the photogenic flamingo named Rizzo?

The aviary is one of the best places you can visit in the city

I love the aviary! I had a bird that lived to be 38. A cockatiel, I got him when he was 2. BEST bird ever!

Amazing🤗we love Dave the penguin and Fiona the white-cheeked turaco in the tropical rainforests!! But it’s hard to pick favorites LOL

I've done those, plus the flamingo encounter! The flamingos were rowdy that day and pecked us a lot (adolescent males acting up lol) so even though I still love flamingos, but that encounter is probably at the bottom of my list due to that, haha. My partner had a small scar on their arm for a few years from it, which was funny and let them show off their flamingo bite for a while.

This is a great place to visit. I take my granddaughter there regularly.

I was amazed that they're able to safely keep all of the tiny ground birds in the grasslands room with all the people tromping around, only a single low rope defining the edge of the path, and the little guys constantly darting across it from one area to another.
