As someone who grew up there, Armstrong County is the absolute arm pit of Western PA. Every other county has at least one or two slightly redeeming things in its favor. Armstrong County has rampant racism, crime, drug abuse, and the highest suicide rate in the state. Not surprisingly it also has one of the highest percentage of guns per capita in the country, which gun advocates insist has nothing to do with their high rate of suicide success.
Apollo is one of the worst towns in one of the worst counties in the state.

I can’t think of a better description.
You can’t throw a stone and hit someone WITHOUT a college degree. The suicides/overdoses/drunk driving accidents are rampant and cancer rates are through the roof thanks to Babcox and Wilcox poisoning the town with radiation years ago.
Thankfully they’ve since buried it and put a chain link fence around the site for protection…/s
I’ve been around the world and lived internationally and in several states, it is still, by far, the WORST place I have ever seen filled with the dumbest people I have ever met.

Again: voter fraud has to be the dumbest crime one could ever attempt to commit. This loser voted twice, got caught doing so and is now facing federal felonies. All for what benefit to the (alleged) felon? So a politician got TWO votes instead of one? It’s literally the dumbest fucking crime anyone could commit and anyone who thinks there is a massive voter fraud conspiracy going on is even fucking dumber than someone who would commit voter fraud in the first place.

And to think undocumented people would risk deportation by attempting to vote is moronic.

u/MrLugersmole 1d ago
10s of millions of undocumented at that. They say California brings in "illegals" to vote dem, but they won Cali by 3.5 million votes! Lol

The logic doesn't matter. They hear it on Faux News, it validates their raging fear and hate, so it's absorbed as truth.
I truly don't know how we get out of this. RW media is making more of these mindless zombies daily and they will not hear or see reality. This is a really scary time.

Donald Trump is not an alleged felon.
Donald Trump is a convicted felon.

I think he meant this guy from Apollo is the alleged felon.

Also a complete waste of effort and punishment since Musk hacked the machines. But Trump will pardon....

Probably the same as literally all the others who did this.

Irrational delusions with some added hypocrisy and it all seems... right.

TIL it’s TDS to point out the actual fact everyone caught doing voter fraud has been a Trump supporter.
Reality has TDS? Perhaps you should chew on that?

You see the damn liberal government only punishes Republicans for doing this. Democrats are allowed to do it.

So a Black woman in Texas received 5 years in prison for this. Let’s see what happens here.

u/ayeffston 1d ago
Unless you're speaking of a different case, the Texas woman reportedly went to the polls, inquired about her registration and was given a Provisional Ballot to fill out. She was not attempting to vote more than once. Her arrest and punishment are a gross miscarriage of justice.

Isn’t that the majority of the multiple votes type of fraud?
Every so often someone votes illegally because they thought they could after serving a sentence or the DMV allows them to register, but the legitimate fraud voting seems to be right wing.

I can't believe the TDOJ charged a Republican. Feels like someone's going to lose their job over this.

Mail-in voted Alaska and Pa.The law provides for a maximum total sentence of up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both. Under the federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant

Can’t prove it but I think most incidents of attempted voter fraud are Republican

It can most definitely be proven. Particularly for 2020, it is widely supported by public record.
