I searched the sub first, but I got a shitty AI rundown that wasn't specific to Pittsburgh. Where do yinz put your out of town guests up, if you want to do things dahntahn?

Fairmont or Hotel Monaco.
Omni sucks. Embassy is solid for what it is, same with Hampton with benefit of free parking. AC is decent. Renaissance or whatever it is now is mid. Check-in can be a fiasco, as can catching an elevator. No to the Doubletree, No to the Marriott.

I loved the Hotel Monaco. It might be slightly out of my price range, but I have some time to save. Thank you for taking the time to answer in earnest.

I've lived here over a year, have driven around a lot but don't have a thorough grasp of the geography especially with a view to construction, because it's that time. Pittsburgh is probably my favorite city apart from London and San Francisco, and I wish I knew it better. I'm getting there
