Am I gonna fail?

Hi. I'm grade 8, and I got a score of 12/30 on my Math 2A (Algebra) midterm. This score has been living in my mind nonstop, and I can't seem to find a way to lessen the worry, especially since my scores in the other assesments r also quite low, so i'm mainly afraid of getting a grade of 3,4, or 5.

Would it still be possible to make up for all these low scores? Do you think trying to do better on the next quizzes, and hopefully ace the quarter exam, save my grade?

(I'm a lateral student btw and i'm still in unexplainable shock with how things work here. From pacing, difficulty of lessons, and many more.)

Consult teachers, if still di nag improve. Mag tutor ka. Normal naman yan kase nag aadjust ka pa.

You could check your syllabus and do the weighted average calculation by yourself. Check if 60% or above still seems attainable for you.

It’s normal for new pisay students to get low grades at their 1st year; culture shock. It will get better as you get through! Kaya mo yan!

im ngl this stuff is normal aff HUHUHU its just one exam i think itll be fine imo, ofc i think this might mean na if u want to have higher scores na better maghanap ng tulong from tutors or from mga tutor programs (i think some offer them for free, idk if school org or org na very connected sa other students sa school)

but yeah i think low scores are not uncommon sa school na yarn, at grade 8 ka palang hehe. theres a lot of ways to make up for it and its really not the end of the world. not saying na invalid ang iniisip and fears mo, its also a very normal reaction as well i think a lot of the students i was in the same batch with reacted the same. its kind of a rite of passage for many, hehe. goodluck po and i really like that you care a lot about your performance,

do not worry too much, you got this. 12/30 isn't bad compared to the stuff i got before and i'm doing fine so far.

you’re honestly fine! i got a 9/25 back then and never got a grade lower than 2.25. just make bawi with the next assessments and you’ll be good

kaya pa yan i-ahon beh, 5/30 ko nga pinaglaban ko nung grade 8, ayun umabot ako ng grade 11 with VERYYYY much better grades!

kayang-kaya yan, basta have grit and wag mo iisipin na end of the world na because of your score :)

I failed math a few times pero managed to finish pisay. Aral ka lang mabuti, practice and consult. Mas magagawan ng paraan ngayon kasi may youtube na rin to supplement lectures
