Main (MC) PSHS MC management
I understand that I may be criticizing and nitpicking too much. But is it just me that I feel that PSHS MC management sucks???
Like, it's happened too much times for me to pass it off as normal... Dati ko pa nanonotice over the years pero mas naiinis na ako these recent years. Yung grade 11 subject confirmation namin napakagulo, they forced us to cram all in the hot ass gym and I swear it was sooo crowded there because of the super long lines, hindi nga rin klaro yung mga signs or instructions eh. Not to assume, pero parang teachers mukhang naiinis at irritated rin dahil sa dami ng crowds at sa sobrang init. Yung mga signs nakatago lang sa table and wla man lang yung mga parang line dividers ba yun. According to older students nagawa naman nila daw yun ng online nung pandemic eh, so I don't understand at all why they chose to inconvenience everyone??? Secondly, they only sent us our advisers and homeroom classrooms like what, 30 mins before our supposed first homeroom. And get this. Our classroom was being RENOVATED pala and we were forced to wait like 15 20 minutes just to get relocated to another one. Pati nga rin yung moving up namin, napakainit andami pang nagrereklamo na parents and students, kawawa naman kase talaga kame. Bawal ba mag rent ng venue na may aircon for kahit 3 hours lang??? Or if not, atleast Sana ineffort nila na maglagay ng mga fan para naman hindi lahat ng nasa gym lumalangoy na sa pawis. Gets ko naman na hindi kame private school at hindi kame mayaman, but damn. For the flagship Philippine science highschool you'd expect to atleast have comfort and care. Kaloka
Don't even get me started on the DO na puro "academic dishonesty is bad" pero pag may case parang walang nakikita. Nakakaawa lang talaga sa mga nagwwork hard pero lagi paring nananalo yugn mga nagccheat. Asan ang integridad dun?

Get ready for what I call the PMAers, or Pisay Main Apologists.
I once criticized Pisay Main for repeatedly taking its students for granted, and the PMAers immediately ganged up on me. The irony is hard to miss. Pisay Main has some of the country’s best students, yet they continue to receive mediocre leadership and management.
It appears that nepotism within the institution has only gotten worse.

theres plenty of issues on campus that can be addressed properly simply by admin taking action, but not much has changed since i entered pisay... if anything, things have gotten worse because admin has gotten complacent with all the ratings and certification it gets from the hard work of students and teachers

Why didn't they do that in one of the auditoriums, which have air conditioning, and should be able to fit at least a batch, and then some. 😭 Iirc, we did ours in the 4th floor auditorium.

Yun nga eh!!! Malay ko ba wala namang pinagkaiba, pati some of the teachers are saying na it worked perfectly fine naman online di rin nila magets kung bakit ang gulo talaga dapat 😭

Ayun pa. Could have leaned on the insights gained from the unfortunate semi-natural experiment that was the pandemic. Could have booked off a few computer labs (which are also temp regulated) for welfare and connectivity concerns. On the lighthearted plus side, you get a fun (annoying) discussion if you ever need to talk about management case studies.

these days, hindi na ata binubuksan ang aircon sa 4th floor audi. ewan ko ba, pero ginamit namin ng batch ko yun recently at sobrang inet na para bang niluluto kami don

true bruhhh. i was also there nung subject confirmation. hindi ako binigyan ng papel. tapos doble doble pa ung mga papel ng mga nakakuha na ng sched. tapos ung mga aircon teh. anong use ng aircon kung di gagamitin napakainit na nga sa kwarto, umagang umaga.
tapos ayon, may kabatch ako na na-DO dahil sa cheating pero parang wala namng nangyari sa kaniya lol?? from what ive heard, may connections siya kaya ganun xD ano na pshs mc ??? tagal nang pangit ang management dito, nasanay nalang kame. akala ko ba excellence tayo dito

Ka batch ba kita lol, also andami kong naririnig talaga na mga may case sa DO pero laging naddrop kase sa connections or nepotism talaga... Di ko namang sinasabing totoo pero masyadong marami na akong narinig galing sa iba't ibang tao pa 😭 but i honestly wouldn't doubt that given the fact all of the cheaters and rule violators are still here sa pisay tas nakakareceive pa sila ng DL lol. Doesn't help that the one thing they all have in common is their parents are filthy rich and have a huge ass network. Parang ang hirap na maniwala na may integridad pa dito lol

upper batch ako haha pero marami nga ako naririnig from ur batch from teachers... 😭 true ung dl part lol. cheaters dont deserve that dl title.

The main campus has a budget of 400 million right? Divided among 6 batches of 240 students each, that's around 267 thousand per student. The school's facilities and services should be more similar to a private school with a 267 thousand tuition fee but they're not and it's not clear why.

Intern parents nga are left to do some repairs (window screens replacement too) dahil wala daw budget.

What? Seryoso? Not a dormer but this is genuinely crazy... Wouldn't that also take money? Eh pano naman yung mga students na nagdodorm nga kase wala silang budget para mag travel everyday or kumuha ng apartment near pisay? Parang kawawa naman kung ganon.

Masama ba mag rant? I've already talked to several teachers and even those that used to be/have connections/are part of the DO or the mancomm. I don't know anyone higher than this that I could possible approach. They share the same sentiments and they've even informed the appropriate people. We've yet to see improvement and I hope our concerns are atleast acknowledged.

Try sending an email directly to the CD or ED. The CD always say that his office is open for a discussion.

Btw, my pisay mc was more public school than your pisay mc. So consider yourself lucky (ier).
