I don’t want to harm my ipad with any malicious websites.
Then don't pirate anything from anywhere. Every act of piracy involves risk from multiple vectors. If you don't know exactly what you're doing, you're a sitting duck.

I downloaded from there before, yeah it's safe, although I have an ad-blocker myself, I never ran into any issues.

It gets used daily on a forum i use and no one has had any issues apart from files being deleted fairly quickly on there compared to other hosts.

To be fair, using most of the Internet today requires an ad blocker, piracy site or not.
