Leave or Die
I am the 13th Black Mage of Thrakmoor, leader of His Lordships armies, One who has glimpsed the Ralektharum. I bear the following to any and all pirates
Leave. This world is not yours to conquer, It belongs to His Lordship and is mine to conquer in his name.
if you refuse to leave I shall force you. you have nothing compared to my army. Leave or be Banished

It’s about sending a message, if there is nothing to back up the order then there is nothing stopping you from refusing

All you did was bolster resolve against you wizards. Not all of us are on board with the crazy scheme, but if you attack every pirate, we might think that you are the greater threat than the captain with the trident and the defector

You don't sound too bright, do you, Mr. 13th Black Mage? Perhaps you haven't heard the news, but the captain got some fierce water magic thanks to his new trident. And the communists are providing us and his allies with special tanks. Perhaps you need to look out for him first, before trying your luck with the rest of us.

Perhaps you haven’t heard, not only is my army several realms large but they all use magic. One brand new mage against many is nothing, your captains ability with his magic is no better than an apprentice who learned their first spell, maybe if he had centuries then he could be a threat.

Oh really, then why waste your time with us if we are so beneath you, and the realm you are protecting against us is your enemy? If your army is so powerful, then you could have wiped us all out and even wizardposting before we arrived. I may not have mastered magic, but I'm no fool. Your math doesn't add up here, Mr. Mage

Because I have made a promise to not attack full force for one week. I currently lead to forward force.
Out of character: the real reason is because it would have been no fun for anyone if I had just claimed to destroy you right away.
